The EnGarde® HEAD-PRO™ is a ballistic helmet derived from the U.S. Army's Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) standard, with side rails for mounting a light, camera or hearing protection. It offers NIJ Level IIIA protection against bullets and solid fragmentation resistance.
Typical use: Suited to tactical intervention units, close-protection agents and law-enforcement personnel facing head-level ballistic risk.
The EnGarde TUFF-PRO-HD™ rigid ballistic plate combines ceramic and polyethylene to deliver Level IV protection (NIJ 0101.04 standard), stopping high-powered rifle rounds including armor-piercing ammunition. Its curved shape follows the wearer's body while keeping weight to a controlled 2.7 kg at just 24 mm thick. Backed by a 5-year warranty, it is designed for use in conjunction (ICW) with a soft panel such as the MT-PRO™.
Typical use: Recommended for tactical intervention units and close-protection personnel facing rifle-caliber or armor-piercing threats.
The EnGarde TUFF-PRO-LW™ rigid plate provides Level III protection (NIJ 0101.04 standard) against common rifle rounds, including 7.62x39 AK-47 and 5.56x45 NATO, while weighing just 1.25 kg thanks to Dyneema® fiber. Its triple-curved design improves wearer comfort, and it is light enough to float in water. Backed by a 5-year warranty, it offers roughly 25% weight savings over a conventional plate of the same protection level.
Typical use: Suited to patrol duty and extended missions where mobility and comfort matter without sacrificing rifle-round protection.
